Jason Nelson

Mr. Nelson oversees the WNC’s construction risk management department to maximize construction quality and accessibility compliance, adherence to budget and timeliness to completion. He works in conjunction with WNC’s compliance department and stabilized asset management group to estimate tax credit delivery and lease-up timelines. Mr. Nelson has 12 years of affordable housing asset management experience, focusing primarily on construction. Prior to joining WNC in 2022, Mr. Nelson worked at two other national LIHTC syndicators. Jason is a Certified Occupancy Specialist (COS) and graduated from Westfield State University, Westfield, Massachusetts, with a bachelor of arts in communications and from Boston University Metropolitan College with a Master of Science in City Planning.
