Partnership Accountant

Position Responsibilities:

  • Prepare financial and tax return packages to meet deadlines and in accordance with GAAP and tax laws for the Limited Partnerships and LLCs.
  • Review and approve tax returns and annual financial audit for Low-Income Housing properties.
  • Work with internal and external parties to ensure accurate and timely completion of tax returns and financial reporting.
  • Prepare quarterly financial reports for investors while providing supporting documentation as requested.
  • Assist with technical accounting research and documentation of various accounting and tax issues, including but not limited to tax credit adjustment, loss and depreciation estimation, variance analysis.
  • Coordinate the collection of financial audits and tax returns as required.
  • Maintain General Ledger, amortization schedule, cash receipts, acquisition and/or disposition of assets, and management fee schedule.
  • Collaborate well across internal multiple functions and external parties.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.


  • Willingness to support teamwork concept and help others.
  • Willingness to take ownership of work and to initiate work (responsibility).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of SAGE 100 and/or Crystal reports desired.
  • Minimum intermediate-level Excel skills.
  • Detailed oriented with attention to accuracy and organization.
  • Ability to handle a high volume of transactions.
  • Demonstrate ability in problem solving, priority setting and planning.
  • Timely completion of assigned responsibilities.

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting, finance, or related field.
  • One to two years of accounting experience.
