Partnership Accountant (Part-Time, Temporary)

The WNC accounting team is seeking a part-time (up to 30-40 hours/week), Partnership Accountant. Under the supervision of the Senior Partnership Accountant, the part-time Partnership Accountant is responsible for assisting the team with both audit and tax during the 2022 busy season (January to May 2022).



  • Review and approve annual audits for Low-Income Housing properties.
  • Work with internal and external parties to address any comments on property audits.
  • Prepare the consolidated financial statement packages for Limited Partnerships by compiling information from property annual audit reports.
  • Maintain Limited Partnerships’ General Ledger, investment schedule, amortization schedule, and asset management fee schedule.
  • Book advances, estimated losses, and RTO checks received to assist with the quarterly investor reports preparation.
  • Coordinate the collection of property financial audits as needed.


  • Input partnership tax returns’ K-1 information for assigned portfolio.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

  • Capable of taking ownership of the work, able to handle high volume of transactions and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Minimum intermediate level of excel skills.
  • Attention to detail and good organization skills.
  • Demonstrate ability in problem solving, priority setting and planning.

Education and Experience:

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business administration, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • One to two years accounting experience preferred.
